Our client is a light metal fabricating company that manufactures steel and plastic consumer and storage products for the USA market.
The role is a senior position reporting directly to headquarters in the USA. It requires a hands-on manager who will enjoy working with a staff of over 500 as well as having a strategic vision for the future. Your goals will include creating continuous improvements in quality, efficiency, and scrap reductions.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Further business education an advantage but not essential 10 to 15 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience as a Production Manager, Plant Manager or GM Experience with metal or wire fabrication, metal stamping, painting and injection molding experience, electrostatic painting
- Experience in related MRP systems and production controls practices
- Local knowledge of all government regulations and controls as it relates to labor, environmental and customs regulations
- Stable work history
